Namtso Lake Trek

Namtso , known as the " Heavenly Lake" is the second largest salt lake in Tibet. It is approximately 70km long and 30km wide. Some 4990 meters above sea level, it is situated at the edge of the severely-weathered chang thang plateau to the north of Lhasa. The Nam-Tso Lake trek starts from Lhasa to the famous salt lake in Tibet "Nam-Tso". It is situated 190 km north of Lhasa . Nam-Tso Lake is the sanctuary of many species of migrating birds and other local birds.

The main attractions of Nam-Tso Lake trekking are Nomad life, Monasteries, the holy salt lake, Nam-Tso excursion, walking and camping on Tibet , Lhasa tour, some high passes like Largen-la 4,970m etc. 

Day 01
Fly Kathmandu, Chengdu or Beijing to Lhasa in Tibet.
Day 02-03:
Sightseeing of Potala Palace, Norbulinka, Drepung & Sera monasteries, Jokhang Temple, and Barkhor Bazaarin Lhasa.
Day 04:
Drive to Reting monastery.
Day 05-08:
Trek from Reting to Joktso La.
Day 09:
Drive from Joktso La to Damshung.
Day 10-12:
Trek from Damshung to Namtso
Day 13:
Camp at Namtso
Day 14:
Drive back from Namtso to Lhasa.
Day 15:
Trasnfer to airport for flight to Kathamandu
